A versatile dip that is so tasty for lovers of coriander. It is mildly spicy and tangy. Excellent with many of the recipes from the starters and appetisers section of this book.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh coriander
  • 1 small green apple, chopped (optional)
  • 1 medium sized green chilli
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a blender, add coriander, apple, chilli, garlic, peanuts, lemon juice and salt.

  2. Blend ingredients together for 1-2 minutes or until a paste like consistency.

Oh, how I love having this dish in my fridge. I have it with everything!! In sandwiches, on crackers, with cheese, of course. A must with Samosa, Pakora and Bataka Vada.  You surely won't be disappointed with this recipe.
